Just recently retired 3 years early and purchased our first Motorhome. All new, very excited and are about to spend 3 weeks touring Scotland. Are hoping to undertake wild camping as much as possible, any advice would be much appreciated. :help:

Welcome aboard, first thing to do is download the POIs into your Satnav. You'll find lots of wildcamping sites and pub stops.

After that post a specific question about where you're going, what you want to do or the nature of a problem or technical issue and you'll get lots of good advice and feedback. You've definitely come to the right place.

We spent 7 weeks touring Scotland last year and enjoyed every minute of it. My advice would be to go for longer.
Welcome to the forum.

Every time we have bought a different caravan or motorhome we have spent the first night in the garden with it... you soon find out what you have forgotten, and it's easy to go and get it!!
Don't hook up to 240v, get used to using gas n 12v.

Advice: bring good waterproofs and plenty of things to do in van when rain stops play.

The weather has been horrendous almost non stop so far this year.

Welcome aboard the club :)

Hi and welcome to the site.

some good advice already. My little tip would be if you are intending to wild mostly, have more than one place to stop in mind, that way if you get there and don't like it or don't feel safe you can move on.

Have a great trip.
