Osiyo [hello] I'm; Paol [pronounced 'Pole'] an aged half breed Indian from Southamton who has just resurrected an old Talbot Express camper from it's rusty grave! My mother was from both Navajo and Cherokee descent and taught me the value of 'caring' and my Father, a 'cockney' aircraft engineer, taught me how to 'repair'. I am somewhat disabled and my hands don't work as well as they should, so the camper is not by any means 'perfect' but it is now 'on the road'. My last effort was an old Bedfod 'Advantura' that I also rebuilt and used it as a public address unit when announcing at shows and events. I got talked into selling it and I 'missed' the old beast, so this Talbot is my compensation! I am going to celebrate having 'launched' it by throwing a party; A meet in September. [I hope to post the details later] Keep an eye on this old Injun, He knows how to organise stuff!. Lastly, I must tell you a funny that happened last week; I Had a 'classic' Avondale caravan that I just sold to a lady with a classic car and wanted my caravan for the shows. She was very pleased with Her new toy, but had not towed before, so I gave her a few tips and off She went! Later I spoke with Her on the phone and She told me that She got it home without a hitch!
I know I shall meet some good people here. May the Great Spirit be with you all. Paol [LaughingHeart]
