New Campervan owner

Hello everyone. What a wonderful site.

My wife and I have recently bought a 1980 VW T25 Holdsworths Villa 3. We've been away in her (Gladys) once, staying on a
site in the Lake District.

We are unsure how long the leisure battery would last when wilding. Can anyone advise us on this as we see this as a cheap
way of seeing the UK, even cheaper if we do a spot of wild camping instead of using sites.

We do have an onboard water tank, fridge etc.

Hello Simon and Sharon,

We wild camp and find that if we're careful with the lights and fridge we can camp for 3 days with the leisure battery before we have to give her a good run.

Hi simon and sharon,
A lot depends on what you have and how you use it.
I have a 110 ah and I recharge every 3 days when wilding.
I use lights a little in the evening and a very small 12 volt tv for 3 hours a night.
that's about the extent of my knowledge on the subject but if you want more then e mail me and I will send you some links to places where you can get the technical info.

Thanks to all that have replied. I can't wait for the spring/summer to come.....in fact I'm not going to.

We are off when we return from Tenerife in early Feb.
