The C.C.Club have a temp campsite in Abergele from 13 th. June to 11 th. July. just basic, water, rubbish, & san. £6.50 pn. Can join on site!. Walking distance tesco, shops, pubs, beach. Manorafon Farm, ( castle grounds ) Abergele Town. Great for stopover or holiday!

Joined the C&CC at the Stratford show, had a look at the magazine & they have some nice cheap temporary holiday sites & DA meets. We are probably staying in the UK for most of the rest of this year & although we prefer to wildcamp it can be difficult in some areas so we thought we would give them a go.

We enjoy the C&CC DA meets, only been with local DA but looking to make more use of them in the summer (oops sorry I blinked and missed it)

I would encourage anyone who is a member of the C&CC to try thier local DA or even the motorhome section...most are friendly!!!
The emphasis is on cheap camping..usually not much in the way of facillities..water, waste disposal..but what else do you need....if you cant get to a decent wild spot try a local meet or temporary holiday site (THS).
You can join in with the social side or not there is no pressure..everyone just want to be camping and enjoying themselves..

We are in the MCC & go on a few of their rallies around the country (like the idea you can just turn up at most without booking) they are only usually weekends though so it not very good if you travel to one a long way off :(

C&cc

We have been C&CC camping for 2 years and started lookng for more camping further a field - now found this site - sorted. A word about C&CC - We camp most weekend with Leeds DA. We put on alot of events check out the website for more just check out lda C&CC. We have cheap camping with basics - water and elan our most expensive weekend would have been bonfire night at £15 for the weekend - this included a bonfire - £1000 worth of firework display - jacket spud with topping and entertainment in the marquee. where can you do that for £15? thats just one event of many. Our DA is very friendly and makes every effort for you to feel very welcome. So if you want to come along to any Leeds DA meets, do so - when you get there just ask for Karl and I will help introduce you to all the friendly people I can.
We do a bogie race in June which is so sorted check that out

Sorry made that sound like an advert - I just love it so much
