I have removed the Sterling 30 amp charger from my VW T6.1 and replaced it with a Victron Orion XS 50 amp charger, the cables used are 16 mm square and I have 2 100 ah lithium batteries installed. I set the settings to lithium and 50 amp input and 50 amp output, I’ve run my batteries down to 13.1 volts this weekend ran the engine on my van but only getting 14 amps charge to the batteries.
Can anyone help me with settings of the Victron xs 50 charger.
Thank you,
John.

Might be worth posting up screenshots of the settings just to confirm?
If you give the engines some more revs does it make any difference?
Being a T6.1, I guess it is a smart alternator? I found the Smart Alternators generally a PITA with the Victron B2Bs (including the XS) despite there being settings to select a Smart Alternator. I tend to use a control signal from the ignition or D+ into the "H" of the Remote (green) Plug as a more reliable way to tell the Charger to wake up.
The Voltage Thresholds with the smart alternators are very different to what you might expect - typically far lower. Personally I found it a bit of trial and error - or maybe more accurately fine tuning - to get the best results with the Smart Alternators (the older Dumb ones are far more predictable).

Thank you @wildebus here are screenshots of the settings.

settings look ok. the input voltages seem low but that is typical when configured for a smart alternator. it says 'user defined' so you chnaged something from the Victron default setting? what was that?
something to check for when the engine is running - and I think you can check the trends/history with the Otion XS to get a view over time - is what the input voltage is as the charger comes in and turns on.
At 50A, you will get a voltage drop of a few 10ths of a volt and that could be enough with a smart alternator at those values to make the charger turn off, then voltage goes up with less load and charger comes on ... repeat.
It is a frustration for sure.
for troubleshooting purposes, see what effect disabling the lockout, and also the engine shutdown. you should be able to see what differences they will make - remembering to take account of the 25 second on delay (maybe change to a shorter time to saving waiting so long?)

I didn’t realise that setting it should have been Smart alternator which I’ve changed, my batteries are fully charged after our journey back home so I can’t test the charger just now.

Just be methodical and make notes of the settings and what happens each time as you investigate (don't rely on remembering each detail individually unless you have an amazing memory and recall!)

@wildebus
I have set the charger to lithium, my 200ah of lithium batteries were reading 13.1 volts so I started the van to go on a 77 mile trip to Doncaster to see my sister the app on my phone was only reading 11 amps of charge instead of 50 amps.
On returning home a total of 154 miles I checked the Victron app and it was not putting any charge into the batteries and it said the charger had shut down. I checked my batteries and on a 154 mile total round trip the charger had only put .1 of a volt into my batteries now reading 13.2 volts.
Here are the readings off the Victron app
