O.K......Lets see if I can post these pics properly....

1st pic:

Aah,there we go.... This is 'Rolling Thunder'...my 42ft long artic trailer 'motorhome'. Yes,it's a double deck ! This is as I bought it...in the rough,as it were. Needs a LOT of work to get it up to standard, but it was cheap. It belonged to a shopfitting firm in London.

Pic 2:

That's for a size comparison to my car. Big eh ??

Pic 3:

Rear view.
I have some more pics if anyone wants to see, including interior shots.

What ya think ?? :)

Hi Dunk,

No,not for around europe. The intention is to make it capable of being lived in full time.
Fit it out with on board genny, massive water tanks, proper bathroom etc, etc. That advantage of something this size,is that you don't need to buy specialist caravan type fittings. Everything that will go into that will be normal house type stuff......much cheaper. :).

Get some interior shots pasted I'm intrigued by the size of it .:confused:

I'd love to see you get that down some of those lanes in Devon & Cornwall.

its april the first...............right..ok..yea.. please tell me im missing summit

O.K.....Lets see if I can do that...

That's looking into the side door,to the downstairs snug.

In the 'snug' looking forward over the neck of the trailer.

Continued in next post....

Here we are, looking rearwards on the bottom deck. Stairs on the right leading up to the top deck. On the left there is a sleeping area and right at the back is the bedroom. (Under that big 'box structure' are 2 large water tanks...to be relocated.)
Also,to our immediate left is the shower room/washroom.

* Don't know why,but it's making the pics go big again ! (I've done it twice and it's still doing it !).

Shower room/washroom 1 (downstairs)

Shower room/washroom 2 (washbasin)

This is upstairs, looking forwards into the lounge area. The kitchen will be refitted along the right hand wall, behind the roof support uprights.

As you can see,I am storing various bits and bobs in the trailer at the moment. (That's a full size bathroom suite).

Here we are stood in the lounge area, looking rearwards. New kitchen area will be on the left wall and right at the back is the current kitchen area.

Closer shot of the current kitchen.

(More stuff being stored too....a cast iron bathroom suite this time).

Remember that second set of stairs ??

Well, here we are looking up and out out the roof hatch, which lead up onto the roof terrace (yes, really!). There are stand up safety rails, which are folded flat on the roof,so that you can have a party or a viewing platform on the roof !

So.....there we are.... Whadya think of that !? :D

As you can see,it needs a lot of work, but I'll get there, eventually. It will look rather different when it's done ! Just about everything will be in different places, with new stuff going in there.

Whoever said it was an april fools.....what do you think now ?? ;)

Oh....If you click the thumbnails, you should get bigger pics.
