My hometown

My hometown of South Shields has been placed firmly on the map today as we,ve just had a visit to our shores by this little fella (the first ever sighting in the UK). It,s called an "Eastern Crowned Warbler".
Apparantly It,s on a winter journey from China and headed for India as part of It,s migration and it must have lost Its way somehow

Their were lots of Twitchers down the seafront today with their telescopic lenses and many more are predicted for the weekend.

Do we have any Wild Twitchers on here? and let me know if you,re coming up here to catch a sighting
