Still a long way to go. Here are some pictures of the progress so far..

Next job is the doors and draws under the tv. I've also been working on a thermostat for my deisel heater.

It's still a prototype controlled through a web app on my phone. I will get a small screen for it soon and build it into the wall but it's working so im pretty pleased with it so far. It would have been much easier to buy one but where's the fun in that.

It's all undercoat, not decided what colour to go. Although it's starting to grow on me. I've not got any windows yet so the brightness is kind of nice. I thought I'd lost this post thats why I posted the same pictures in the other thread. I'll add some more to this one. I got myself a wind turbine to stick on the roof just before winter but didn't get the deck on the roof built in time so that going to have to wait until summer when I won't need it but I got a generator to get me through this year.

I've also finally switched to a separate router for the Internet with its own data sim instead of using my phone.

I needed the separate wifi so that I could get the cameras working. I had trouble connecting to them with my phone while I was using it as a hot-spot. The cameras were essential as I have alot of people trying to rob the van round here. At least once or twice a month I have to chase people off. They mostly just run but not always. Had one guy get into the van in the summer at half one in the morning. Stay away from the valley towns if you're ever down this way.

The cameras are on each corner at the front and one at the back. They clip on and off so I can remove them when im driving any distance. I leave them on if im not going far but I wouldn't want to drive down the motorway with them on. It's nice to get a warning if anyone comes within 6 feet of the van.

Thats looking really good, I particularly like the yellow on the doors it goes well with the grey.
A lot of work building a van, most fall down on electrics, but when sorted it puts a big well deserved grin on your biscuit chute. :)

You can buy a security light which comes with an alarm unit you plug in anywhere in your house (I used to have one in the past). As soon as it lights up you are notified, which may be handy for you. You could also plug a light into the alarm unit which lights when it is activated a light coming on in the house might also put intruders off.

If you do not have a 240 volt supply, a 150 watt inverter should be sufficient for an LED security light and the alarm unit. You will only get a tiny parasitic drain on your batteries when connected (unless they operate of course).
