Hi folks especially the heelanders, Sue has a cousin that she hasn't seen for many, many years and has just renewed contact with, they would dearly love to meet up again, so can anyone suggest a place to stop with the tin tent in or near Musselburgh? Please.

Place that is always recommended and sounds great , the Sitooterie at Wallyford .
Check search for sites
Also 2 park and rides nearby , extremely long lay by between Joppa and Musselburgh , Portobello etc

The Sitooterie Eskfield Cottage. Geeez, Ive passed there hundreds of times and did not know the cottages and aire existed, looks the bizz.

Edit, looking again on GMaps, make that thousands of times before the current A1 was constructed. Lost from view and memory.

Dunbar is a Bonnie we toon and not far from Musselburgh and you can park up in the leisure centre car park or down at the harbour, but can be busy and depends on your tin tent’s size

Apologies, sorry. Thanks for the suggestions, it will probably be towards the end of June after we get back from France when we'll visit Sue's cousin
