This magic track by Ben Howard does it for me every time.

The lyrics are just... well ... you know  :)

What are your favourite tracks for wild camping? :)

Old Pine

Hot sand on toes, cold sand in sleeping bags
I've come to know that memories
Were the best things you ever had
The summer shone beat down on bony backs
So far from home where the ocean stood
Down dust and pine cone tracks
We slept like dogs down by the fire side
Awoke to the fog all around us
The boom of summer time
We stood
Steady as the stars in the woods
So happy-hearted
And the warmth rang true inside these bones
As the old pine fell we sang
Just to bless the morning
Hot sand on toes, cold sand in sleeping bags
I've come to know the friends around you
Are all you'll always have
Smoke in my lungs, or the echoed stone
Careless and young, free as the birds that fly
With weightless souls now
We stood
Steady as the stars in the woods
So happy-hearted
And the warmth rang true inside these bones
We stood
Steady as the stars in the woods
So happy-hearted
And the warmth rang true inside these bones
As the old pine fell we sang
Just to bless the morning
We grow, grow, steady as the morning
We grow, grow, older still
We grow, grow, happy as a new dawn
We grow, grow, older still
We grow, grow, steady as the flowers
We grow, grow, older still
We grow, grow, happy as a new dawn
We grow, grow, older still

Je t'aime YouTube for when I caress and kiss my MH.

Hell, I would make babies with it if I could!

Agggh !
I've just had a horrible mental picture of you doing just that.

It might clear the soot out of the exhaust tailpipe... But your EGR Valve wouldn't be happy.

sorry

give me sunshine all the time or you are my sunshine thank you pj

When i'm setting off, Born to be wild, Steppenwolf,

Sitting relaxing, Sunshine on my shoulders, John Denver.

Roam by the B-52s, although you have to ignore the "without wheels" part of the lyric.

Whether it's the group's name, I don't know, but I have a so far suppressed desire to drive my van with Roam blasting out of a roof mounted speaker, whilst screaming "I love the smell of napalm In the morning" out of the window a la Robert Duvall

It has to be 'I wish I could get the f****** Van off the drive' by 'Miserable old Yorkshire *******', not a well known song or band though

Willie Nelson says it all for me..........

The only one I can think of that sums us up is Stepenwolfs.....Born to be wild........

Get your motor runnin, head out on the highway, lookin for adventure, and whatever comes my way, bla bla bla.

Very kind of you to think I am so endowed!

Well considering the number of threads asking to solve problems. plus the number complaining about persecution from traffic wardens, I think this is the most relevant song.
