Murcia Airport Motorhome parking

Have You tried the Airport parking we where happy with the price they charged us a few yrs ago
 
Thanks for that. Was it at the new airport though? St Javier was always easy but the location has changed.

Can I ask if they asked about the MH size/length? Was the price increased due to length?

Also will you please report back on the experience when you have done it as it could prove useful for us in the future?
 
Hi
No mention of length apart from is the vehicle over 5m. Out of courtesy I told them mine was 6.6 but I didn’t need to.
Cheap flight to Marrakech now 14.99€ each way!!

Cant comment on rates for different vehicle lengths, I use my car for airport runs. I’ve used Plane Parking several times both at Alicante and Murcia airports and the procedure is the same at both. You meet their guys at the short term parking departures area, you cant miss them they wear identifying jackets. They take your vehicle away to a secure parking location. On return, after clearing passport control/baggage collection you phone them and they return your vehicle 5/10mins later to the same location and you then pay them by cash/card. They also wash the vehicle.

The above depends on whether they are insured to drive the vehicle.
You do have to specify whether or not it is owner/driver only.

That may well be the case for non Spanish registered vehicles. My car is registered and insured in Spain, consequently it is the vehicle which is insured and not exclusively the owner/driver. Anyone with a full license can drive my car.
