Mull best sim?

Heading over to the island next week. We have O2 sims for phones and router but is there a better option?

Vodafone used to be the best option on Mull, in certain parts it was the only provider that would work. But that was five years ago. Generally speaking in Scotland EE is best. Go to Vodafone’s and EEs coverage sites and check what’s best. In Tobermory most worked fine even 3 which can be useless up here.

You will be sooooooo distracted by the beauty of Mull & Iona, connectivity will be that last thing on your mind!!

Even the Royals William and Kate are there today and tomorrow for their Mull & Iona fix

My Lebara sim is Vodapfone,it's a good sim.

Talkmobile is also on Vodafone. I switched to them a year or so ago. Have found their customer services and support pretty good.

The very quick search I did reported many saying that it was a lot slower than Vodaphone. Let's face it if you are piggybacking on a carrier the carrier will keep the best for themselves. Or so I would think.

Using cellmapper.net it is clear that 3 has very little coverage only 3 masts with none on west side. Vodaphone has 6 again none on west side. O2 has 6 masts with one on west side.

The winner is EE with 17 masts and by far the best coverage all over the island.
