Movie Making Software

Hi,
can anyone recommend the best (trusted) free software for me to download so that I can edit my video clips and piece them together?
 
Windows movie maker isn't bad for getting started, it's fairly straightforward to understand and find your way round as a beginner. Then when you've got to grips with it you could look for a better one.
 
If you use windows, you should find it in your All programs list on your pc, it should already be installed.
