I watched the prog last night. They showed a sign which I am sure I have seen on my trips to France before - its a yellow square with a line through it diagonally. It means traffic joining from the right has priority until further notice. It ends when you see a yellow square without a line through it.
And I thought the French were just bad drivers:eek:

Indeed. The yellow square says you are on a priority road, this ends where the square has a line through it: then general priority from the right.
You can find these traffic signs also in Belgium and the Netherlands.
 
Oh dear is that what they mean !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least if we see any now we will know !!!!!!
