motorhome web sites

hi all,
I've spent the last hour or so looking through the member lists
on other motorhome web sites, and was surprised to find so many
people were members of 3 or 4 different sites.
this shouldn't really surprise me, as I am also.
I joined different sites to "try them out"
but I found from the start that this site was
the easiest to navigate, and had in my opinion more of a friendly atmosphere
so I decided to hang my hat here.
(no disrespect to other forums Im sure they all do a grand job)
but each to our own opinion!
any-one else willing to admit being a multi-site member?

Nope I'm proud to say, I'm a one site member(the only one) and I've not missed a day since I joined

I will admit to joining MHFun did make a few posts but haven't bothered for a while, do log on and browse occassionaly but too much of a "loads-a-money" site for me.

I was also on m/h not so fun, but I have asked over one month ago for my user name to be deleted.
I was immediately stopped from logging on and Kath also without requesting.
I think that our names are still there to keep the registered user name numbers up

But I will also say that of all the motorhome forums that I have registered with this is the one I post on regularly and the only one in my favourites list

Same here Geoff but i dont bother with it at all now its much more fun here and here is where i will stay.

i'll delete my details myself through the user cp
"it cant be done"
they probably are trying to keep the numbers up
if I was very cheeky I could change my username to
wildcamping.co.uk
but that wouldn't be cricket

Well,.... I was with MHF, and still am registered, but one of the members took offense at my Avatar, and Signature. They complained to the Admins, who removed them. I don't care for censorship, where there is no need. I care even less for people who complain about you behind your back. I left, and joined this site. Much more friendly.

ps. My sig was a "narrowed" version of a recognized piece of art, which was displayed in a London museum a couple of years ago, and which was viewed by all ages, including children. It is neither obscene, nor pornographic. (It's a puppet !!)

I registered with a few but MHF welcomes my login but then says I am forbidden to post. MHT lets me post but has to pass its gestapo before appearing. MH facts is ok for browsing and offers. out and about live,I cant work out how to post on it and seems to be too busy. Havn't tried practical motorhomes yet, my biggest problem is remembering passwords so I just come here, Its like entering the doors of a friendly local pub, with a crackling log fire in the grate a welcoming Landlord behind the bar and all the locals smiling as you enter and asking a cheery "What are you having Rick"..............Well maybe not that last bit........ so ill just hang me coat up snarl at Lenny cos he's in my favorite chair and go fetch that foaming pint of Pedigree that ADMIN has just pored and settle down on Lenny's knee.

.......I really dont like it. Just makes me think of some one in a laboritory mixing animal dna and that could actually happen! It troubles me.
