I have read on another forum that water Ingres warranty with some manufacturer's are not transferable. Swift have a ten year water Ingres warranty only with the first owner .but up to 6 transferable .

Seems strange Bazz.

I would have thought that providing any conditions have been met, (ie. annual habitation checks etc), they would still be liable?

Doesn't surprise me though.

They nearly all work on a sliding scale too !
Most owners also won't realise that most new motorhome warranties are voided by spending more than 42 consecutive nights in them !
Never bothered keeping any of our vans warranties going but may do with this one as it's going to be high value still, damp check is all that's needed on this one to keep warranty valid but suppliers said first year £400 so will be going to Belgium as apparently €70 , make a trip of it maybe .
eck £400 how much for second?

After the first 12 months most "warranties" are insurance backed where terms and conditions have more importance
Channa

Just checked on auto sleeper web site , it clearly states .the remainder of the water Ingres warranty is not transferable ,also their is a £100 transfer fee to be completed in 14 days to transfer 3 years warranty .
