Motorhome fire Southport.

Motorhome destroyed by fire - Pleasureland

Fire-fighters were called to Pleasureland car park, Southport, at approximately 12:30pm this afternoon (Wednesday 18th November 2009) following an emergency call. They arrived at the scene within minutes to find a mobile motorhome on fire.
The motorhome was completely destroyed in the fire.


The motorhome was empty and parked up at the time of the incident

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire, and foul play has not been ruled out.

Just read this on a southport forum, hope it wasn't deliberate.
 
Always very sad when you read about these things, glad nobody was hurt. Be interesting to find out the cause.

Looks like an engine or cab fire to me. Coachbuilt is (relatively) unscathed externally.
 
It wasnt AJS was it just coz he lost his licence he might be trying to stop the rest of us having fun.:D:D:D

Feel sorry for them and hope its not to far for them to walk home. I wonder if they are members on here.:)

I think "completely destroyed" must have a different meaning in Southport than it does in Preston?

No, you're right. Looks like B 222 YBX or maybe B 222 YBW to me.

This age is an insurance problem. Book value is only a few grand but it could easily be worth 10-12 grand for the owner. These vans can go on forever, but noone realises their true value.

started to bitch again on here have we thats why i very seldon post on this forum

dont forget pleasureland gets locked at day/night so you carnt just pull on there anymore you need to ring the owner before hand so this van could of been illegally parked who knows as its private land they wont be insured will they or is that me thinking outside the box again

why when reading thru the posts on the southport page were people happy at anothers misfortune?would they be so funny had it been theirs or sum1 they knows??????doubt it!:mad:
