I've fully laden our Autoroller 100 today, inc wife and dog, and taken it to puplic weigh bridge, I was very surprised with the weight ticket I was given. As I've fitted loads of accesories , solar panels, 2 extra 110amp batteries , spare wheel and winding mechanism twin 11kg gaslow bottles, 19"tv, 6ton jack tools etc. Anyway ticket read 3090 total weight so that leaves me 410 kg for bringing the wine
back from France, I was worried but now chuffed to mint balls.

How much does it cost?

How much does it cost to weigh your motorhome?
I would like to weigh ours with our 'extras' to see where we are with weight.

hi, very often as long as you dont want an official ticket its free . find a quarry or a scrap yard they can help out .lots of heavy goods depots have them. some builders supply yards.

Hi Beemer, it cost me £6, the operator said £6 for each ticket total weight, rear axle, and front axle, but he did me one ticket with total weight and printed me the back axle on the bottom. so just £6.
hope this helps.By the way it was a local coal merchants that I went to,recommended by g.rath.

John.

I got mine done at Weston Cider Mills near Ledbury. It was about £4.00. He did both wheels and rear axle only two tickets for the same price and signed them.

Yorkshire Trading Standards in Morley have a free one that's open 24 hrs. You don't get a ticket though.

Do you have to carry a weight ticket in France? we are going over in june.

I learnt this weekend from a friend that you do actually get a ticket here, it's dispensed at a hole in the wall. You have to look for it!

VOSA also carry devices to weigh your vehicle in a layby, this has happened to me on several occasions in my Sprinter.
