Our van was last MOT'd in July 2019, due to the 6 months extension it ran out in January this year but because of problems I decided to wait to MOT it, we need to move it from the drive for a month so I booked it in today to see what needed doing to get it through, I went to collect it to be told 'nothing', it is exceptionally good for its age 🤔but I did get an advisory😭, L/H indicator slightly discoloured, spoiled an otherwise great day knowing I had to spend on a new bulb (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

Snap Tel, took mine to a place at Warminster today and it went through just fine. Mine has been in constant use though.

I didn’t spot a single member of dads army, was most upset :(
Mine has done less than 2000KM (LHD) since July 2019 and that was all before December 2019 because we haven't used it since then I am ashamed to say, it has been difficult time though and I couldn't do anything about it

Our ten year old berlingo went through MOT without even a replacement bulb needed. Was really surprised. But as it was due cam belt replacement, and 100000 service, we still have a big bill to pay :ROFLMAO:

Well worth it in my personal book, Ruth. Brilliant little workhorses.

Hopefully gets you another few years of use and definitely a whole lot cheaper than buying new/newer! (y)👌

Anyway, aren't there mutterings about repairing things and make them last longer, now that (some of) the world seems to be finally waking up to what a dire state of affairs we are in across the board with our dreadful 'throw away' style of living? ;) :)

As a fellow Yorkshireman, my heart bleeds for you, Terry.
Did you keep the receipt for the faulty bulb... You should demand a refund.
Let us know if you don't..
I'll set up a crowd funding scheme..
Might take some time to raise the money, of course, unless we're prepared to accept donations from outside Yorkshire.

I used to paint the clear bulbs when changing lenses to clear on cars, didn’t realise they were different figments but in my case it didn’t matter

Progressed from thy inner tube I take it
he is such a gem the lad is
so is Maggie by the way

The yellow and white bulbs aren't interchange able different off set to the pins ( or was )
Both interchangable and called 382 type bulbs/winker in the trade, 380 are stop and tail combo, 207 used to be old side or single tail bulbs which would have been pared with a 382 for brake lights.
And yes i can still remember the part numbers of toyota bits. :( sad ent it.
