Hi.Any of you guys & gals tried Morrisons B30 diesel in a 2.8jtd engine.(Bosch, common rail)
Did you need a filter change soon afterwards?

As far as I'm aware Morrison's don't do the B30 Diesel around here I think it's mostly up North. I thought Morrison's had stopped selling it after this government took the bio-fuel tax subsidy off it, 20% I believe? A stealth Tax? I have a VW Sharan Diesel and the hand book says it's OK to use refined Rapeseed fuel, if your vehicle is German it may tell you what fuels you can use.

I wouldn't use it in a common rail diesel. but whatever bio you use in any diesel you will have to do a fuel filter change a couple of months after, as like pure veg oil that I use . bio cleans out the tank and system. You will be amazed how dirty Diesel is.

i wouldent use it with a commonrail set up the fuel pressures needed are higher .my 96 c250 merc non common rail engine as opposed to the cdi one fitted in some newer ones is running on 50/50 veg oil for a while just to work out the mpg as opposed to full diesel no point in saving money with veg oil if the mpg is less than with derv
