Well I bought Raes fiamma ultra box but had nowhere to put it so I modified my cycle rack so it would fit on top and still let me put my bike on it. As you can see by the pictures I extended it and also fixed it to the back doors by straps and rubber blocks against the doors so it can’t move around on the tow ball. I also sikaflexed four hard wood rails to the inside and some on the bottom of the box making it much stiffer. I am well pleased with the result and it gives us a lot more storage space. just what i was going to say obanboy.....however, im sure he will have a spare plate to attach to it....

Do you intend fitting an illuminated number plate board etc as your cycle is covering the vehicle number plate. I would or you may well get pulled over by the police.

There is an additional number plate above the box. But should it be illuminated?

I have a number plate above the box so no need for a lighting board .

The front wheel of the bike doesn’t look to have much ground clearance. Needs to be able to clear when reversing over a high kerb. Nice bike by the way!

Ps. I am also an ex windsurfer! Not been on the water for 10 years since we sold our holiday home and bought a motor home. Still got all the gear and keep promising myself to have ago, but getting too old.

Nice job Jeff no doubt you’ll have it no time and it’ll be full of stuff you didn’t know you needed. 👍
