mobile phone wifi boosters

been reading threads on wifi boosters with great interest
Anyone knows if there is such a add on device to boost wifi reception range of a mobile phone ???

Orange - WiFi if your with orange it allows you to use 200,000 bt openzones hotspots for free if you have wifi package on your phone if not its £2 a month .if like me you have a blackberry then you can make calls using wifi network

thanks for your response I followed your link and realised that i asked the wrong question
I was looking for and add on device to my mobile for picking up wifi signals from a DISTANCE (not 3G)
Is there such device available ???
