Mobile phone scam (PREMIUM RATE)

Just received my 3 bill and found a £4.50 a week additional charge taken on there....... £18 so far........

I have NOT signed up for this and been onto 3 who say they will try and help...... Indian call centre of course but cant do ought till Monday..........

Anyway been onto Marting Lewis site (consumer forum) and loads of people been scammed by KKO Mobile..........

I am livid but the charge is there or I will loose my 3 service as it stands...

Good idea, now perhaps Road Runner will enlarge on the scam so that we can all be better informed?

Well i have been billed for a premium rate service for ringtone from a French company at £4.50 a week but never signed or asked for them, my account is with 3 phones.

Not wanting to derail the thread (again), but what happened to the other post?? I get nervous when things start disappearing.

Things may disappear because either the thread went off topic or people reported posts for whatever reason. Don't worry... if we had a forum with threads all over the place it would not be usable.

I don't have an account with 3 but do have a PAYG text enabled data modem. Has anyone experienced rogue texts or bills on a data modem?
