Barnstaple is quite dangerous at night... although down in that Lorry park you should be OK: Follow the road signs for Seven Brethern. This Post Code should get you to the right place EX31 2AS
I believe that Tintagel is £5 and has been for some time

This booklet is so out of date , don't buy this ,as a waste of money. you would think number one motorhome mag would print a up to date booklet, this has been printed the same for the last 5 years , also the info about MOT station are not worth the paper its printed.

It seems to have updated the bit about Dawlish .. but thanks for the warning ;)
I buy this magazine anyway as its full of great stories ..
I guess its all trial and error when ever you wild camp :)

Don't be so negative – though even that can be useful too. Every little bit of information starts to be out of date as soon as it's written down.

Things like this – well, at least they're a start. Once you get there then the usual common sense applies. Don't like it – don't stay.

Thank you for sharing it.

Just so as not to put people off "BARNSTAPLE" with a P and not a B is no more dangerous than any other town in the South West. So come visit.

What I found when looking through the guide was that unfashionable tourism counties like Essex, Herts, Surrrey, and Sussex were totally absent, while many other counties were either missing or had only a single entry.

If they are going to do a guide and publish it semi-officially via MMM they should expend a little effort to make it useful and comprehensive.
