Missing Vehicle Documents

I am just about to leave for Italy for a long spell of 3 months but seem to have mislaid my vehicle document and MOT cert (March10). I do not think I will have time to get another one in a couple of days so do you know if I will be OK in France /Italy without the document even if it is all available of course at DVLA?
I have got my driving licence and Insurance documents.

Any suggestions?

MOT certificate can be got while you wait (10 mins) if you go to a DVLA inspection centre. Unsure about your registration document, but hopefully with your insurance and MOT they should suffice!

if i contact my local dvla office i usually get a new log book in 3 working days . tell them you need it quick .it may pay to take the vehicle for them to see, i have been building cars and trikes .trucks etc for years and when its finished want it out the way as fast as possible .my local office chase swansea and it works very swift. be nice but stern . cheers alan.
ps. i wouldnt go with out all of the paper work.
