On way to screwfix tomoss for ladders will have a look at safe.
My only concern is if a motorhome is broken into and the thieves find a safe they will know that it will hold valubles and try all ways to open or remove it.
I presently seperate any valubles and hide them throughout the van, may stick to this method.
I would also be concerned as to what to secure the safe to. Motorhome floors, walls etc are i believe usually wood or similiar anything bolted to wood can easily be removed.

On the other hand, it may be good as a decoy. Chuck some rattly sounding things in it. Bolt it to a sacrificial bit of false floor. It may make them think they've got the good stuff.
In the meantime the passports/valuables etc are stuffed into other random places.

Good thinking Hextal I'm looking for a safe that is big enough for my laptop . I've seen a few in shops but they seem expensive

Also saw a seat swivel base with built-in safe - looked very good. Expensive though.

If you are handy with your hands (I am not) you can remove either the drivers seat or passenger seat and you can fix the safe under the seat then replace the seat, I have mine under the drivers seat far enough back not to be seen from the drivers door, you need to put your arm under the seat and unlock the safe some times a little fiddly but out of the way of of prying eyes.
