in portugal i welded the top half of a french ambulance on the top of a magirus deutz fire tender. this gave loads of headroom and light ,but he wanted more so i made a luton from ply and ally ,so it was supported on the front bumper ,when i asked him how high he wanted it ,he dropped to his knees and said ''measure to the top of me head ,and add the mattress -that'll suit me and her !''
i also made a few molycroft roofs ,which make a big difference
