Mice Again

Hi we have a Hymer B 524 A Class and have once again had mice/rats in the van, if anyone remembers we had them last year while on holiday in Greece, scared the living daylights out of me, I am scared silly of them. Well we went in the van again last week and found the signs that they had been in again, we set traps but think they must have gone on there way after chewing the bed !!! We have tried to seal up anywhere we think they are coming in from, even the smallest of holes, OH been under the van to see if he can see anywhere they are coming from but cant find anywhere. Has anyone any advice to give me on what to do and how to prevent them coming in, we never leave food in the van and its cleaned after every use. We put some blue tablets down to poison them and there poo was blue so dont know if it worked or not. Any advice would be great, thanks.

If they've taken the bait and died you may get a smell from the dead animals if they are still inside.How long was it since you put the poison down?
You could put a CCTV camera with infrared leds on to check for activity when your not there,also if you get a small camera you try accessing under seats and storage areas with it to see if there is anything behind,the infrareds will show everything in complete
darkness.Or you could try and run a ferret through your motorhome and have a dog catch them.Catch alive traps may also be useful to leave in until a sufficient amount of time has elapsed to gaurantee nothing is still around,happy hunting,
