Hi just wondered if anyone knows if I can change the engine in my Mercedes 207d for a Sprinter engine or Turbo engine ?

It wouldn’t be easy as you would need to swap all the wiring looms and Ecu plus ignition etc etc, but why would you want to ? As the old merc engines are bulletproof and super reliable, just slow.

Hello and :welcome: Just my opinion but wouldn't upgrading the axle to a higher ratio be cheaper and more easier? :wave:

That wouldn’t be straight forward and probably not worth the problems. An engine from a latter 310d (same body) would probably go in though but your only gaining 30hp.
