my wife has a medical condition where she requires oxygen 24hrs a day . has anyone out there any info of xchanging bottles on the move etc.any info would be very welcome regards BAZ.
check out if the local hospitals would be willing to exchange the bottles. if you conntact in advance then it may be possible to organise something, you may need a letter from your GP but it would be worth the effort my husband had to use a nebuliser three times a day but we got around that problem by purchaseing an inverter. this will plug into the cigar lighter and the three pin plug fits the inverter and changes the voltage so the nebuliser can be used. we normally did this with the engine running so as not to run the battery flat. good luck and safe journies. annie the BCWench
The purpose of the Medical Oxygen is to provide artificial oxygen for proper respiration for the patients. The Life Choice Oxygen concentrator is a portable oxygen concentrator which is used on a prescriptive basis by patients who are diagnosed as requiring supplemental health. I have met with one of my neighbours, They said that won't do any harm to our health. I hope you would recover soon. . There are many models and of many types available now a days. These are also of affordable prices. The information provided through the post about the bnbnf Results associated with Portable Oxygen Concentrators is very necessary as I am in search of this type for my Grand Mother's sake.
many thanks for your reply, we are on a waiting list for a portable machine, wife's condition is in operable, so dont know how long we have, renting oxy machines are about £300 a week, buying about £4000, as i have been made redundant as well, money is not plentyful. hope you get your gran sorted out soon BAZ.
