Hi Kontiki, 85000Kms equals roughly 51000 Miles. The best way to change Kms to Miles is multiply the Kms by 6 and you have it in miles. Reason I mentioned the Mileage, is that the 1800 miles extra quoted MAY effect the price on the Bongo. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but 85000kms equals 52900 miles, exactly as his advert says. 1K = 5/8th of a mile, divide the kms by 8 and multiply by 5.

Hi Macbob. I have tried to do it your way and I come up with 53125 miles. Either we are both right or both wrong☺☺☺

In actual fact Macbob was right with is formular, although the precise answer wasn't the same as your's. Seeing that you have come up with 53125 miles and macbob's formular comes up with the same answer, then I except I was wrong in my calculation. My apoligies Macbob. Using Google to find a conversion 1 Kilometer = 0.621371192237334 Miles so 85000 Kilometers = 52816.551340173384 Miles approx. so 52800 is near enough. Thanks for the advice anyway but it's the daughter & her husbands van I just posted it on here in case anybody is interested.
BTW I always use 5/8 km to the mile as it's close enough & easier to work out. :wave:
