I have a Luna Champ A670R on a fiat ducato 2.8 TD. I understand the overall kerb weight is approx 3500kg, I want to know if anyone knows what's the maximum I can tow with this motorhome using a none braked A-Frame ?

As ***** said 750kg gross but if you are going to mainland Europe the police have issues with a frames and I have seen a number of British vans with a frames pulled over with police by the a frame. Do not have one my self we use bikes or walk.

Take note that the French are doing the on the spot fines now for "A" frames. The Spanish do the fines and make you unhitch and continue with both vehicles being driven separately

trailer

Brian James do a lightweight trailer for the task (braked single wheel) and cheap for a car transporter
I picked up a second hand one last year for £450 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pretty much concur with *****, the most you can tow unbraked is 750 kg,s

There has been many questions in respect of the legalities of A frames In the Uk never mind our continental cousins.

If you have not already acquired an a frame look for a trailer that carries without wheels of the towed vehicle touching the floor it is far more at least legally straightforward and easier in respect of insurance

Great price - says he through clenched teeth :) Just had to pay £800 for one; still that's better than paying out for a new trailer
