Matlock fishing in motorhomes

Bit of subject, but i no a few people on here do fish.Just wondering if anyone has been to matlock bath and fished on the day ticket stretch behind the fishponds recently.Use to fish there this time of year ,with the stick float for the grayling,fancy a trip again.
 
last time we were down there there were a few bods fishing there looked good. we may take a trip there this Christmas for a couple of days away, when i have finished replacing the propshaft center bearing on the old beddy .it gave up the ghost last week on the way back from a couple of days in london. most of the way back on a breakdown truck :eek: saves quite a bit on petrol though :D:D:D

Hope you get your prop sorted out.Do you do a bit of fishing your self.Good at matlock for the grayling. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
 
i do like a spot of fishing trouble is i have not seemed to get away this last year or so, prop done and perfect thanks. not too bad a job to do mind you i spent quite a few years as a mechanic but nowadays i simply loath that type of work even on my own motors, but it saves the garage bills i was quoted £185 including parts at a local garage dick turpin motors he said the part was difficult to obtain and may be 90 quid as a result the part cost 75 quid and 3 hours work all in, a merry Christmas to you too
