Hi
been on the road for awhile (3 weeks) in a Renault Master Van. When I purchaseed the van the seller said that the timing belt had been done but not much of what he said has proven to be true. Changingb the belt took less than 2 hours and was the easiest that I have evr done. Simply mark the sprocket realease the tensioner and slide the new belt on and retension.
The bad new was that I ran out of clutch in front of the green dragon which is not completely bad luck what a great little pub.
The clutch cylinder had let go. normaly this is a simple job but not so on the master van. The clutch cylinder is inside the gear box and the box needs to be removed. No one in the district was prepared to look at it. The new part cost 56 pound and it took me 2 days to remove the box and fit the box and re install the box. Everyone I met in the area was extreamly helpful and dispite the horid job enjoyed being in the rejion.
Now on our way to Swansea looking for wild camping site any advice?
PS for my minds the Pubs in the UK are great.
only 7 months and back to Australia. loving the UK.
Cheers Lazy
