Masmovil are now offering a pay as you go 120GB data sim for €20 per month with initial purchase through Masmovil stores. It is working fine for us in our Samsung phone.

They just need to see your passport.

After purchase download the app and register to top up each month as required.

Llaymaya still available 120GB for €30 monthly but the Masmovil rep said that Masmovil coverage in Spain as good.

1 hour of live streaming U.K. tv uses about 0.8GB per hour in standard definition but you will require a VPN and turn off location settings on your device. We link our phone to TV using type C to HDMI cable.

Cheers Moped, I'd stopped streaming anything after Xmas on this winter trip. Can you recommend a VPN?

I use Surfshark. Not the cheapest but it works for us in France and Spain. They do a good sign up offer with extended months for first time users. Been using it now for 3 years and all the main channel players work.

Remember you must turn off your phone location setting as well.

Fast and never had buffering issues with 4G.

It helps to have a dual sim phone so that you can continue using your U.K. sim for roaming phone calls whilst using the Spanish sim for data. You select which sim does what in your sim settings.
