Set off this morning for Europe, just stopped at Peterborough services and realise that I have forgot to put the marker board on the bikes, that are on the rear of the motorhome, does anyone know where I can buy one on route to the tunnel?

If you mean a lighting board just remember it must have a fog light, many don't and not legal, get one in any car shop.

Is that the square red and white chevron board? I gave up using mine in Italy (where I believe they are required) years ago after I drove the van over the last one. I think they are only required in Italy and possibly Spain so it depends where you are going. Ive been to both since I knackered my last one and not had a problem but I would think you will pick them up in most motorhome dealers here or over the water and you certainly dont need one for France.

A fog light is not a legal requirement unless the trailer is more than 1.3m wide (4ft 3")

Yes it was the red and white square,
We managed to get one from Cambridge caravans just a few a few miles off the M11

Not what I read, states if the car has a fog light the trailer must have one, maybe I have read it incorrectly.

Correct me if i`m wrong but i thought the marker boards in Spain and Italy have to be aluminium

I think the Italian ones do but not the Spanish ones.

Am happy to be corrected though if wrong...

I believe it is just Italy that have to be aluminium, but I may be wrong, as I often am.
So she keeps telling me.

Thine and mine must related then 😵‍💫🤣

I knew Italy was for sure but something in the back of my mind said Spain had gone the same way 🤔

Never mind, i shall go and stand in the dunces corner and spank myself repeatedly with the latest copy of Rhubarb Growers Weekly then
