If anyone is searching for cheapish solar panels...Maplins have reduced theirs by 30% until 15th October. Seem quite good prices. Maybe worth a look!

I've bought lots of kit from Maplins and their staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I wouldn't buy solar panels from Maplins, personally.
They charge well over the odds for them.
eg £300 for an 80W panel kit. Even with the discount it is £210 - you can buy an 80W kit from Ebay and elsewhere, even Amazon I saw once, for much less than £100.
They also sell a lot of kits 20W, 30W etc which are probably not worth having for power supply in our crappy sun conditions. Go for at least 80/90/100W.
