mains polarity light

hi all purchased genny at weekend honda when i set it up the zig unit mains polarity light comes on have checked wiring all ok ,does this come on as not 240 volt ,everything charges as should and have lighting etc your thoghts would be appreciated cheers all john

Groundhog day again.

What you need is a link between the neutral and earth on the plug that you connect to the generator.

This is what happens at the main power station, so you have to replicate this.

I have a Honda and exactly the same happens to me. Honda say it's not a problem and certainly the battery charger and sockets all work OK. I'm no electrician - I just took their word for it.
