T&J

Hi, got it booked in at Sheffield costing 900.00 be glad when its done

Hi Cas

About the same as mine 650 + haveing ours done next year, you must let us know how it goes. We have a 1987 Fiat / Glendale that runnes and pulls great just wondering about power loss. Could you let us know if you experience any power loss and what you drive would be most interested.

Take care

My mate has had LPG for years on his T25 he says to expect just about 5-10% powerloss

AS a general query can anybody say how lpg compares with the mpg for diesel ?.I currently run a 2.0ltr ducato and get 25/30mpg

Hiya Cas

A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

facts and figures on LPG

theory
expect to fill tank to 80% of actual capacity.
also expect 80% of the mpg you would get with petrol
so if you get 50 mpg then you would be down to 40 with LPG
but of course you would only be paying less than 40 p a ltr compared with 90 for petrol.
how that compares with diesel depends on wht MPG you get with your diesel.
the conversion for the diesel to MPG is very expensive......and would take many years to even get the costs back.
best place to get LPG
Trinley tech cambridge area. [I am going there as soon as I have the cash]
they provide a kit [simple to fix] and then will check it and issue a certificate for insurance co.
kit costs about £400 and the certificate £25.
If you are a member of www.bedfordcf.co.uk and we do take other makes now [ they have their own section] there is a further 5% discount.

the best bit
the EU have a restriction on the amount of tax our rip off gov't can put on LPG because it is a green fuel.
and you are also helping the environment.
can't be a bad deal.

if anyone wants a list of LPG stations just email me.

if you run a diesel, it is worth thinking about bio diesel and I recently did a piece on that for the bedford cf e mag which you can download from the site or e mail me for a copy if you want.
