LPG - still viable

But BP and Shell are. Our local BP lpg pump is no longer. And Shell services at Ross on Wye no longer either.

The way I read it, the gas is destined for bulk tanks at home and exchange bottles.

I don't think Flogas provide LPG via a pump. :(

For as long as we extract oil from the ground there will be LPG. It's one of the first products of distillation IIUC.

The pertinent question for us is how long will it be readily available at the pump. I'm not going to panic just yet.

This is Autogas https://www.glpautogas.info/en/lpg-...the UK there are, short of the country's needs.

My LPG https://www.mylpg.eu/stations/united-kingdom/

Morrisons are still selling it too.

the thing is know where they are, support them buy buying LPG and they will keep the pumps, if you only have one tank it might be a problem but I've never had a van that would only take one cylinder, tanks are large enough to last with some planning

They do, but key sites more for car fill-ups. An account is needed to use, maybe not practical for lower usage customers

My tank means I only fill when touring every 6 weeks spring to autumn so 3 months in Scandinavia, one fill. My local flowgas autogas pump depot is 6 miles away. If all else fails I will be using that unless low volume use is a problem. We often go to my son in Belgium. There is lots of cheap lpg there.

On the Flogas website, go to Gas Bottles and Find my Stockist and tick the Autogas box, it will then show you Autogas around your location.
There are more than you think.
