Have started a new thread as the other has been spamed, Are the LPG fuel pumps the same fitting in france and spain as over here?

What do you mean by fuel pumps? the garage refilling systems ? i believe they vary from nation to nation and most folks obtain a certain set of adapators to use, gas bottles are also different weights and sizes with odd fitments, however it appears that two 7.5 KF bottles is more than enoughfor most tours overseas and calour have just started a loan system for people wanting extra bottles.

i'm struggling a bit i must admit, I think there is a section on this in john wickershams book about building your own van, The guy i would normally ask called phil over on the SBMCC forum is rightfully furious with me over another issue so I cant ask him. i'll check my books and see if I can find anything.

Ok what i have found comes from the Caravan handbook, page 245
1 it appears you should be able to get adaptors from possibly Calor but more likely the caravan shop nearest you, They say Calor is impossible to get outside the UK, so a lot of folks tak a big calor bottle and a type 907 Camping Gaz cyl which is available over most of europe, perhaps the camping gaz website has a list of countries and agents you can download??

Cas just to clarify is your van fitted with an inbuilt gas tank or bottles?

Aah engine power LPG, your best bet is to contact the suppliers/ converters of the LPG fuel system and get a list of their european agents.
