Heading down the coast line towards Bologna etc any tips for lpg stations .
Thanks in advance guys

We are going over on Friday Gordon , but I have filled my gas bottles before I go 2 x 13kg , so I should have enough for 2 weeks as I will be using my invertor to power our fridge / freezer and kettle and slow cooker , so should have plenty to see us through . Btw we are going on the France / Belgium border to a place called lac du val joly close to Eppe-Sauvage , beautiful lake on a free aires overlooking the lake . Enjoy yourselves Mate :drive:

Hello Gordon

If you pull into a service station with GPL the second big clue as to whether they do it is the big white tank, usually off to one side of the forecourt. The first clue is just the same a home i.e. on the tariff board. I think the dish adapter is far and away the most commonly used adapter in France.

Enjoy your travels mate.:camper:

Cheers

hi gordon we used (www. fuelflash.eu) it’s a good site you can find locations of garages and check prices of both lpg & diesel similar to the ********** site select country town product etc gives you cheapest & location and even gives you coords and will take you there by a sat nav googlemap **********

Bon voyage, young uns. We reckon you are due a well earned holiday, after all the sterling work, you've done.

Just google/ Alexa " nearest Lpg/ autogas.with your location switched on.
Big supermarkets are the cheapest, usually on the outskirts of bigger towns.
Enjoy your travels.
My lpg.eu is a good site, too.

plenty about too, mainly big towns all have one or two places and if really stuck go on the motorways to get it. My fill point was always on the wrong side though so I just reversed by 29 feet wherever I had to get it...so what, French do not care and they seem have all the time in the world to wait - have you noticed that in supermarkets, takes ages to get through any tills.
