Lovely new Aire / CL near Bala lake in Wales

I think this will eventually be a CL or CS. Opened late last year and it's currently listed as an Aire on search for sites. Been here two nights and leaving tomorrow. Only us here. £15 without ehu or £20 with.

Very well laid out. Bit tight getting in the actual CL but no problem really.

Nothing cheap round here so I think it's not badly priced and good that you have a choice of ehu or not although there are five points.

Nearest that I can see is Bala, just under 4 miles and takes 8 minutes to drive there😩

On mistericemans link it says that the Bulls Head is 0.7mls away, on Google maps it is 3.9mls

If I remember correctly you would have all got lost if I wasn't flying an England flag at Rutland Water, it was just tall enough for you to see it above the trees 🤣🤣
I think it was the first meet that WC had there

How far from the lake Barry and is there easy access ?
 
It's about as said, four miles from the lake. You can see the lake in the distance in the pics. No pub obviously. It's quite high up so good views.

No I've not submitted it but will do if I can figure it out at some point.

A nice spot if you fancy getting away from it all and don't like campsites.

Interestingly, their website shows a tariff £5 higher than in your post.

Please do. I'll forget and I'm not trying it on this phone after the bars opened.

Yes I saw that. It was certainly £15 and £20 though and we had a long chat about the CL, prices and the job he has done. He really wanted feedback which of course as a very experienced CL and Aire user I gave him.

The only thing I told him was about grey water. Apparently a few visitors had mentioned there was no grey waste drain (****! 🙄). He was talking about installing a drive over grey point!!! I told him not to bother and just tell the visitors to chuck it on the adjacent field / hedge.

Hi Barry,

Location submitted and should be visible at 52.94739, -3.52548. Would be good if you could use the Location App to Verify it and post a Review (perhaps commenting on the £5 lower prices and the grey water disposal!).

Done that but I reckon the price I paid is correct and not the prices on their website. £15 and £20.
