Lost in France.

It was reported by a member in the The Complete Guide to France - Travel, Living in France & Expat - Lost-in-France.com newsletter which we received today that the Creuse is experiencing it's coldest weather in May since records began in 1946. From 30 degrees a couple of weeks ago apparently down to 1.7degrees resulting in snow. (Read full story and others by logging on.)
Makes you wonder whats in store this summer.

If not done so already Lost in France is a website worth checking out. Could help with any questions you may have when planning a short or long term trip to France. Holds lots of info on all the diferent regions.

don't understand that ...france has national weather records back to 1888 to my knowledge , perhaps earlier

maybe the coldest since 1948 ? sounds more likely

and yes , after a delightful april we are paying in may , another week of lousy weather at least according to the forecast

you didn't really think france has better weather than the uk , did you ?

in my local region they recorded a minimum in may of -8.6 in 1902 , and maximum of 35.2 C in 2001 , not in the same weather station I hasten to add !
