Afternoon all,
I'm trying to find the isolation tap for my water heater. Swift Sundance 2000.
There are three taps in the pan cupboard under the oven., for the hob, oven and fire but nothing for the water heater.
Anyone have ant ideas?

Have you looked in the wardrobe.... In our 590rs the isolation taps for water heater and gas fire are in bottom of the wardrobe.

Will have a look, though I don't know why they would put 3 under the cooker. Swift idiosyncrasies.:D Thanks for that.

Can you not simply turn them all off while any work is being done Sue, even turning the tap at the bottles off.

Yup go figure.... We have the ones under the cooker....
I guess as the water heater and fire are in the bottom of the wardrobe they chose the closest location to the appliance.

I think mine's on the floor (under the benches) right by the boiler itself. Completely different MH though, so probably useless information!

Sue, in our old van the taps for the fire and water heater are under the off side bench next to the heater. I know this because both of them do not work so they needed isolating. Hope this helps

Had a look, and......you are right. Three more in the void under the wardrobe, unfortunately without any indication of what they are for. 2 in horizontal position and one vertical.
The reason I asked in the first place was because himself repaired the water heater and while it now works, it hasn't been tested for gas leaks. Water no problem cos when it went faulty himself fitted a tap to stop water getting into the heater, so I thought, disconnect the gas for now, cos we want to use the van this weekend.

Rog, that's what we will have to do, but not at the moment. We are going to the meet near us, and as the hob, fire and oven work I don't want to mess with anything. Might have a try tomorrow when we get there.

Guess who sleeps above the water heater?

Is this any help....

IF not ill have a look at ours tomorrow when I get home (working nights at moment so not near van)

We are going to the meet near us,
..... have a great time but make sure you both wrap up warm!
Thanks Rog,
It's less than 10 miles from us, but the weather can be so different. It's further into the pennines than us.
