Just returned from a short trip to Lincoln and stayed at a camping site ( first time for ages!) It was small, has a fishing lake, adults only, and there is great pub food next door. The thing which impressed us most was the shower ( currently the only one... additional being done soon) ..it is fully adapted for disabled with loads of space, low wash basin, loo etc. The owner said he couldn't see why everyone did not just provide facilities for disabled as anyone can use them. Plus they were sparkling clean too. Just in case some of the less able bodied members are interested. Bainside house, Kirkby on Bain, LN10 6PN. Caravan Site at Bainside, Kirby on Bain | Bainside Coarse Fishery, Holiday Home, Commercial Caravan & Camping Site
Cost us £13 for large pitch van and big awning. Electric metered but cost us 28p for three days!

I'm from Lincolnshire originally and always look further afield? But this looks like a good place to go as I am a disabled traveller. :

This sounds a good site...will try it on way south in October.....Maja

Book with the site direct...we went through pitchup not realising that the "deposit" we paid is actually their fee and the owner loses that off the booking!
