Lidl Folding Saws

They are very good and i have a similar one that i keep in the van and i bought from Asda whilst on offer a few years back.

I`ve hacked a good few branches off when i`ve been pitched that have been banging on the van.

i went to an auction on saturday , bid a light industrial bench drill upto the ton before dropping out, thinking i could use it for the job in hand and flog it on again. just been into lidl for the weekly shop.... theyve got a heap of bench drills in .....just got to tell the mrs the groceries were 50 quid more this week.

in general their tools seem good value.... maybe wouldnt stand constant abuse , but for those of us tool collectomaniacs who only want occasional use they are god enough.

got to go ive got 8 sixteen mm holes to drill in some half inch steel.

Today I have pulled my gas space heater in bits that came from Lidl it might have been used a dozen times and the gas valve solenoid coil has bunt out. I have a chainsaw chain grinder also from Lidl that I used once and the next time I wanted to use it, it wouldn't start. Cheap Chinese tools. Not a fan of Lidl tools.
I suppose there is not a lot to fail on a folding saw.

I will now send for a decent coil from RS.

Sorry, maybe I should have emphasised that.

For Fazorloz - they are good, get through branches very easily.
