Hi there, Can anyone help me with 2 questions regarding the Leyland DAF T244 4x4.
Q1) This vehicle as manufactured has a GVW of 10T and classed as a HGV with all the licence, tax. MOT and on road operating requirements. I understand that this truck when converted to a camper can be downgraded to max 7.5T GVW with the C1 licence and non-goods vehicle requirements. Does anyone know how to do this please.
Q2) Does anyone know the Wheel width dimension of the 20” rims fitted at standard to this truck, as I’m looking to fit ditterent tyres but can’t lock the rim with spec.
Thanks in advance,
Jon

Hang fire on the tyres as I “believe” the downplating involves swapping to 16 “ wheels ,at least that was the standard practice when I sold them years back, go to your local DVLA test centre for up to date advice.

New rules in about up/down plating.
