Levelling Ramps

Hello I want to upgrade our levelling ramps for our van mainly when we stay on aires or sites. We currently have the fiamma magnum ones and when we have had to use them they have been far to low.

I am therefore looking at the alternative Fiamma ones or the Milenco Quattro or triple ones.

The Quattro look fab but will be bulky to store but will the triple ones give us enough lift? Any recommendations??

I would go with the quattros
Yes they are bulky but worth putting up with that for their prowess
I store ours between the cab seats while travelling and throw under the van if I don't need a lift.
Newly fitted air suspension will make a huge difference and looking forwards to first use

I have two smaller ones. I wouldn't use them much if wild camping anyway, it is more of an official campsite thing!

Mine fit under the passenger seat. I wouldn't want them any bigger; they'd just get in the way. Although I believe people have stored them high up in the passenger footwell with some success.

I've seen a couple use a spirit level and a compass just to put up a tent :hammer:

Lorry :drive:

Ramps, grip mats, toolbox, first aid kit, fire blanket/extinguisher - keep it all to a minimum or get a trailer. The one time you need it you will have left it at home:confused:

Yes I agree I wouldn't use them wild camping but were on a few sites in France last year where we couldn't get level but don't want to carry huge ones either Arrgghhh

ramps

get a sleeper mark 6" cut at 45deg,does my job perfect.

Ramps? never used them as long as my head is not lower then my feet I'm OK. But I thought that kerb stones were put in for this very reason.

Practical Motorhome are giving away a pair of Milenco ramps with each new subscription at the moment...

Thanks Billy, Where did you see that advertised I can't see anything on the internet?? Might be tempted!
