They must be using a very very accurate spirit level :) 🇬🇧 Or it’s just for show to let everyone know they has some

Bit like the electric bed in our Pilote Motorhome. Never did work properly, perhaps I should have invested in blocks
Electric Bed ? What was that for, some sort of self-levelling bed device in Pilote ? Though Pilote's were old like Sylvia, Talbot type ?

My guess is safest place to keep them out of the van.
Can't be nicked , as they held down by a few tons and you not tripping over them in the van.
Jobs a good 'un .

Have often seen this and was told they were to stop the van from rolling should the brakes slip.

2015 one with a bed above the front seating area. Seemed like a good idea but lack of headroom when it went up with the pillows and duvet on the bed. Didn't notice it in the showroom as their bed only had a mattress on. The design had two electric struts that were stepper motors the idea being that they would stay in sync with each other using a small computer. As with all these inventions reality stepped in and one side would come down different to the other or it would jam going back up. No manual way of moving it so when it stuck it stayed stuck until you could persuade it to move. Following year they changed it so it had one motor and seatbelt type webbing. Totally different.
